Summer Baseball is well underway. The Cooperstown tournament kicked off its 2009 season and a few of the FPBL teams are in the hunt for the title. The Margate Titans seeded # 1 and are in the Final 16 along with the Panthers Baseball team. The Panthers seeded # 21 and will face the # 5 seed from Texas  DBAT Mustangs-Red this morning while the Titans will go up against # 17 seed from Florida St. Pete Hurricanes. Another FPBL team suffered a heartbreaker loss yesterday when the Coral Springs All Americans lost 6-5 to Bakersfield Xtreme from California. Also participating in this event but unfortunately are out of the competition are the  Loxahatchee Rattlers (FL) W 3 - 3L and the Seminoles (FL) W1- L 5
