Top DAWGS rise to the top............See who's making a move

Our 6th year in the FPBL is coming to an end and what a year we have had ! The playoff system has been revamp from years past to Include more teams in the playoffs and this season we have in most divisions  a Final Four in Majors & AAA Divisions...with a double elimination format where the top four teams will now have a shot at winning the FPBL Title.

Here is what's happening in the league with teams jockeying for position.

8 Under Division
In the 8Under division the Weston Hawks continue to roll in the division with a solid 22-6 record and on their way to win that division title.

9 Under American

In what appeared to be a shoe in with the Wellington Warriors Purple at 7-0-1 leading the American division at one time, the Warriors must win two of the three games to make it to the Majors Playoffs or will need help from the other teams in the division.

9 Under National:

The Wellington Warriors-Gold are in control in this division winning all of their conference games, followed by a solid team in the Okeeheelee Canes, West Boyton Thunder and will see about the other team making the Majors since the pokers and Palm Beach Thunder are in a dog fight for the last spot.

10Under American

This division is a two horse race now, with the PL Bulldogs leading the way  and Wellington Warriors right behind them.......but do NOT count out the Cobras and look out for the Tigers, they could sneak in to the Final Four.

10 Under National

The Miramar Canes have been the surprise team in this group leading the way at 10-2 but followed very close by the PPO Bengals, Piranaz and the Spartans.........they will have a tough first round playoff game.

11U AAA Division

This division is lead by the Titans and Predators, but come playoff time it is anybody's game. Winner & Runner up in the division are reward it by getting an automatic Invite to the Final Four championship round

11U Majors Division American

The Final Four road will have to go through Nike, despite losing to the SF Stealth twice this season, they will win the division and would probably be there at the end. Look out for the much Improve Miramar Canes and Wellington Warriors.............they can surprise the BIG DAWGS !

11U Majors National

Newcomer to the league the TPX Titans looks like they will win the division, but as it is with the 10U Div, there are some big horses on the other side and will have to knock out some tough teams to get there. The next four teams is too close to call......it looks to be a 6 team race for four spots.

12U Majors Division

As one coach told me early in the season the cream rises to the top....always !

Last season Champion Panthers Baseball just took a pair from the Runner-up Dynasty Elite to climb a bit higher in the league standings as they stand now only a few points behind the division leader West Pines Cobras, this is probably the most competitive division we have in the league............In this class any of the top 8 teams making the playoffs could win it all................and fighting for the last spot you have the Titans, PL Bulldogs, Canes and the Bengals with only a few games left, that spot is still anybodies spot......good luck to all !

12U AAA Div American

The Boca Thunder team will win this division and had a run at an undefeated season for a while, but come playoff time is anybody in this group, the top 6 will make it and the race is NOT at the top, but at the bottom for the final spot.

12u AAA Division National

The race here is NOT over for the top spot as you have three teams still in contention leading the way the  PSN Mudcats, Miami Lakes Bombers and the much Improved Cooper City Cowboys....but the others are not out of this by all means, the Blaze, Seminoles and Hawks appears that they will make the playoffs and all have wining records..............this another division very similar to the 12U Majors where it is hard to determine who is the TOP DAWG !

We will have a recap of the 13's & 14's tomorrow.
